SHARE THE JOY LINKY #21
This week I am thrilled to be co-hosting the #sharethejoylinky with the wonderful Michelle from Bod For Tea. It’s so important to recognise the things in life that make us smile and I love reading other people’s positive posts.
What are memories made of?
I was looking through my son’s memory box this week as I sorted out his new room to make way for baby#2. His scan pictures, hospital tags and first shoes all sitting proudly alongside his baby booties and newborn handprints. I love looking at these things and I want to preserve them.
But can memories really be kept in a box?
I can’t capture my feelings the first time I heard his cry, the hugs he gives me when he wakes up or his sense of joy at the simplest things. When baby#2 arrives I will savour their little keepsakes too but it is the precious moments I can’t document that I will keep closest to my heart.
Right, on to the link up!
All genres are welcome at Share the Joy – new posts or old favourites. Posts that might have made you laugh out loud, opened your heart, raised your spirits or just made you smile!
Sharing my joy
Each week, Michelle picks a favourite post and features it on the following week’s Share the Joy link up (she’s also made a Pinterest board where you’ll find all her favourites in one place).
Last week I loved reading Writing with confidence from Collective Moments. I think we all have moments of self doubt about our writing abilities and even though I have worked as a professional journalist for 10 years, I still question myself so it really resonated with me.
Today I’m sharing 5 tips for your best birth choice as I’m now 35 weeks’ pregnant and also The A-Z of me if you fancy learning a few random facts about my life here at The Free From Farmhouse.
Let’s Share the Joy!
1) Link up posts that have brought you JOY – Writing them might have made you laugh out loud, opened your heart, raised your spirits or just made you smile. All genres are welcome, new posts or old favourites and as many links as you like!
2) Link back either by including the Share the Joy badge (below) or a text link back to this Share the Joy linky page in your own post.
3) Please comment on one of your hosts’ posts and a few others. Let’s Share the JOY through commenting as well as through our posts!
Share the Joy will run for a whole week until the following week’s linky is open, so you’ll never be too late. And don’t forget to tweet me or Michelle the url to your post using the hashtag #sharethejoylinky so we can retweet it.
Feel free to invite your friends to join in – JOY is always better when it’s shared!
