They say up to 80% taste is actually to with smell – and these vegan chocolate truffles smell divine! Honestly, I could barely manage to photograph them while resisting the urge to eat them all. And when I did, they didn’t disappoint.
As you will know, if you already read my blog, I am a big chocolate fan and these really are the best vegan chocolate truffles I have tasted. They are rich, decadent and each mouthful feels like a treat.
Even better, they are not only vegan but also made in a nut free facility, are gluten free and contain no added sugar.
They are produced by Nina, founder of Eat Allergy Safe, who understands allergies. That is shown clearly by the fact that although they don’t contain soya, they are not labelled soya free due to the risk of cross contamination. Instead of just a vague ‘may contain soya’ she clearly states it’s because of the chocolate manufacturing method, so people have more information to decide if they are comfortable eating them.
Nina has grown up with peanut and tree nut allergies and runs the brilliant Eat Allergy Safe Podcast, interviewing others about their experiences. She is also a trailblazer on our Allergy Travels site and an all round lovely person.
The truffles cost £14.99 including free UK delivery and you can buy them on Amazon. They would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift or a special treat for anyone dairy free.
