Welcome to my new monthly blog post all about my favourite things. It is a chance for me to share with you some of the great products I have found, experiences I have had and ideas I think you will love. If you have anything you would like me to feature, do get in touch and I hope you find some inspiration here.
Funky Giraffe bibs
Every girl knows that accessories make an outfit and baby A is starting young. These Funky Giraffe bibs are bright, fun and come in a wide range of designs. We love her personalised bib and the bright pink cupcake design is just adorable. They come with two popper closings, which is great as baby A just pulls the velcro ones off! I sometimes find the triangle shaped bibs ride up too much but these lay flat and also have a double cotton layer so don’t soak through too quickly. You can win 10 Funky Giraffe bibs by entering the competition below.
Plant based breakfasts for kids
Are you stuck in a breakfast rut? I know I am and I’m bored of the same old toast, porridge or cereal cycle. So I was keen to see what inspiration #freefromfridays blogger Kyra from Vie De La Vegan could give me. She has just released an Ebook, Plant Based Breakfasts For Kids with some great, healthy options which are quick, easy and many can be made in advance. I love the Rasberry and Coconut french toast bake.
Ok, it’s confession time – I love Aldi! Before I moved to our town I had never been in one and was definitely a bit snobby about shopping there but now I am a complete convert. It is so much cheaper than elsewhere and their produce is just as good. Their mince pies were a saviour over Christmas as they are dairy and egg free and their white bloomer is the best soya free bread I have found.
This sounds a little corny, but I am so thankful for all the people I have met through blogging. They have offered support, advice and helped me find a little corner of the internet to stay sane. This month I was finally able to meet up with one of the most inspirational bloggers I have met along the way, Vicki from Honest Mum. We enjoyed some lovely festive drinks with some great, creative women in London and I came away feeling inspired.
