I love chocolate. J loves chocolate. But we don’t do dairy.
So when Plamil Foods got in touch and asked if we would like to sample some of their dairy free chocolate – made in a nut free facility – we jumped at the chance.
Plamil have a great range of dairy free chocolate from deep delicious dark chocolates to milk chocolate alternatives that are all nut and gluten free too. They make all their products in their own factory and are vegan and fairtrade certified – they made the world’s first vegan milk chocolate back in 1983!
The luxury bars feel very decadent and are made using up to 87% cocoa and organic oils and dried fruit. They would make a lovely gift or just to treat yourself (like I do!) at the end of the day.
I also love the fact that Plamil produce advent calendars, Easter eggs and fun seasonal items – such as chocolate hearts for Valentines day – so the kids don’t need to miss out. J loved his Easter bunnies and it’s so important they can have sweet treats too.
I must admit, I wasn’t convinced by the idea of sugar free chocolate but I was pleasantly surprised. The sugar free range is sweetened with Xylitol and they also have some new bars that use unrefined coconut blossom sugar as well.
J and I have sampled bars and products from across the range and have loved them. My favourite is the Organic orange chocolate while J liked the No added sugar alternative to milk chocolate bears.
Now you can decide for yourself as we are giving away an amazing hamper packed full of chocolate goodness.
