I cannot believe we are at the end of January already; it has flown by. Far from being gloomy, it has been a fun filled month and I have celebrated Baby A’s half birthday as well as being a judge in the annual FreeFrom Food Awards.
I have some lovely favourite things to share with you this month that have brightened up my days. I hope you enjoy them too!
Bakeit freefrom cake kits
Do you ever wish it was easier to bake free from cakes? Well, an innovative new company have taken all the hassle away for you. I was excited to come across Bakeit freefrom in a local Bedfordshire magazine. Their kits are free from all the top 14 allergens and arrive beautifully packaged on your doorstep. They contain every ingredient you need alongside easy to follow instructions. We tried out the carrot cake and it was delicious. They are a little pricey for every day baking but perfect for a gift or special occasion.
You can win a bake it free from cake kit by entering the compeition at the bottom of the page.
Dunelm mill table cloth and oven gloves
Ok, I am stupidly excited about having a matching table cloth and oven gloves! I love this scandi-inspired leaf design and picked it up in store after seeing it on line. The colours match the tiles in my kitchen perfectly. Having a wipeclean tablecloth is essential with young kids but I love that it can be stylish too.
I have had a constant urge to declutter since having baby A and this month I am in full flow. I have been inspired by Marie Kondo and even started folding my underwear!! As well as freeing up some space and feeling generally more orgnaised, I have also offloaded a lot onto ebay and am totting up my paypal account so I can treat myself.
How have I not discovered chocshot before? This little gem is dairy free, soya free and so good! You can use it to make hot chocolate, drizzle it on pancakes or just squirt it straight in your mouth as I have been known to do! I particularly liked the orange spice flavour.
