Meal planning. It’s the key to saving money, preventing food waste and staying sane! I love reading other people’s meal plans but although I’ve been meal planning for ages, I have never shared them on here. So I though it was time to change that!
I know many people struggle to know what to cook with multiple allergies. Throw in a fussy three year old and I definitely don’t have all the answers! But to give you an idea of how we manage, I am going to be letting you know what we cook every week.
We try to eat family meals as much as possible but some nights my husband is not home until after the kids’ bedtime so we might eat different meals. Also, J is extremely fussy so I will adapt some meals for him but I’m trying to stop miss A going the same way!
I love making a meal that can last over a few days and this week’s plan starts off using the leftovers from a Sunday roast. I also like cooking dinners that I can use for lunch the next day, so the pasties will also be going in the kids’ lunchboxes.

Wow that chicken noodle soup looks delicious. I totally agree about leftovers, I love them and even make extra so that I have some. Thank you for joining in with #MealPlanningMonday and hope to see you again x
Love the idea of chicken pasties! Definitely very British but like you say, some puff pastry is dairy-free so I tend to use it on occasion too! This week I used it for two different recipes. Welcome to Monday Meal Planning!
The bacon risotto sounds lovely. Have a great week #mealplanningmonday
