Meal plan and kitchen tour

March 6, 2017 by Emma 18 Comments

Happy Monday! Last week I totally forgot to post a meal plan as I had been away for the weekend at the Allergy Blog Awards, so this week I thought I’d bring you something extra to make up for it –  a kitchen tour!

I love nosing around other people’s houses so I I’ve been meaning to do some room tours for a while and what better place to start than the heart of the home. Enjoy taking a peek…

Good morning! I’m posting this bright and early this Monday as I am flying up to Edinburgh for work this morning.

So what did you think? I’ve always loved the country kitchen look and can’t ever see myself having a modern style one. We are hoping to have an extension in the next few years though so I might get to shop for kitchens all over again!

Right, back to my meal plan. Today I’m flying up to Edinburgh for work and won’t be back until late tomorrow, which means Mr C is in charge of two dinners! So I’ve kept it nice and simple for him.

Next Sunday is James’ birthday party so it will no doubt be a manic and tiring day which will end by us all eating pom bears and birthday cake for dinner!

Monday

Sausages and pasta

Tuesday

Chicken fingers and chips

Wednesday

Chicken and chorizo fried rice

Thursday

Morrocan meatballs

Friday

Homemade burgers and sweet potoato fries

Saturday

Pork wrapped in bacon

Sunday

Party leftovers!

I love this post, the vlog was brilliant, I’m really nosey too when it comes to other people houses, I always look in windows when I’m out on walks…is that a bit stalkerish? I knew a lady who used to go around showhomes at the weekend, just for something to do as a hobby!!!

Thanks Rebecca. They are building a new estate near us and my friend and I have been to look round the showhomes ‘just for fun’!

Ha ha ha I love what Rebecca said, I also nosey through windows as I am walking lol. In fact I call it “taking an active interest”. Everything sounds delicious this week especially the meatballs. Thank you for joining in with #MealPlanningMonday x

Yes, absolutely – nothing better than nosing in windows on a walk!

I love homemade burger and sweet potato fries, nice Friday treat. I enjoyed the tour of your kitchen too, and I’m making sure I get a proper walk in larder in my new home. 🙂

Loving kitchen, I’ve mixed country elements to a modern kitchen, somehow it works! Adore the table cloth! Funny we are moving again, wonder what our new kitchen will be like x

How exciting for the move – and perhaps the chance to plan/update a new kitchen?!
