I hope you all had a happy halloween and enjoyed lots of safe and spooky treats.
We had a great time decorating the house and trick or treating around our neighbours – although there are literally only 4 houses where we live so we know exactly who’s going to knock on the door! The great thing is though that they all make a special effort to include J and Miss A. They buy free from chocolate, mini oreos, safe sweets and non-food fun especially so they can both come home with a bag full of treats.
If you’ve now got a bit of a Halloween hangover and aren’t quite ready to think about Christmas yet, here are a few ideas to keep the freaky feeling going a little longer:
You may have heard of sweet potato used in brownies, so why not pumpkin? Try it out with this decadent Vegan double chocolate pumpkin brownies from The Peachicks’ Bakery that are top 14 free!
If you’re tired of sweet treats, then use your leftover pumpkin for this hearty Slow cooked beef and pumpkin chilli from Easy Peasy Foodie.
This Trick or treat roulette rocky road from Gluten Free Alcehemist is a brilliant idea and also perfect for using up any leftover sweets of chocolate.
Or go a bit healthier with this Easy slow cooker pumpkin butter from Strength And Sunshine and embrace the autumn flavours.
