Twists on a classic #freefromfridays

April 8, 2016 by Emma 3 Comments

This week I’ve written a post that I’ve been thinking about for a while and I’m sure most of you can relate to.

We all love our little corners of cyberspace but most of us have ended up here because of an allergy, intolerance or other dietary restritcion that we didn’t choose.

So I’ve addressed a question I’ve been asked a few times “How would you feel if your child outgrew their allergies and you couldn’t blog about it any more?”

I would love to hear your thoughts.

hipp organic live hat weaning with allergies

Yesterday I was talking allergies again as I hosted a live chat on the Hipp Organic Facebook page about weaning a baby with allergies. It was great to be able to offer advice to other parents who are struggling but also shocking at the lack of information and support that is available.

Many parents are at a loss for what to feed their children, which is why all your recipes are so important.
hassleback potatoes recipe

I loved these Hassleback potatoes from Raia’s Recipes. They look really effective but are very simple and nice twist on a family favourite.

paleo avocado zucchini hummusI really enjoy hummus but as J and baby A are both allergic to sesame it’s not something I eat much. I liked this recipe for Paleo avocado zucchini hummus from Pancake Warriors as it is a sesame free twist.
