I know I’ve only been back from Spain for 3 weeks but I’m already planning my next holiday! And this time I’m hoping to try something new and do a house swap as a cheap and practical alternative. It’s great to have self catering accommodation when you are dealing with allergies and I like the idea of having that home-from-home feeling.
I am also giving away one year’s free membership to HouseExchange.com so you can get planning too.
This week has flown by really quickly. It started with J recovering from an asthma attack and luckily he is now almost back to new. Then we went away with our group of NCT friends to Norfolk for the weekend – six 2 year olds at once! This was a bit scary as it was on the same trip last year that J had his first anaphylactic reaction. But they were all brilliant at watching over him and it all went by incident free. Then I had to travel to Wales for work so suddenly it is Friday again!
I haven’t had much time to cook but I have also done a round up of 5 delicious dairy free desserts as I often find myself getting stuck in a rut and serving fruit or yoghurt every night when there are lots of other easy options.
I also find myself getting in a breakfast rut which is why I enjoyed this Granola Recipe from The Recipe Resource. It is a great healthy alternative to shop bought cereals and it is difficult to find nut-free granolas anyway.
