Free From Fridays – 18th September 2015

September 18, 2015 by Emma 4 Comments

This week my baby boy started nursery! He is growing up in front of my eyes and I am excited to watch him grow and flourish as he learns new things.  I am trying to find the balance between letting him fly and keeping him safe so I am having to face the fear of him starting nursery with food allergies.

date

Between J starting nursery and looking after baby A, my ability to cook anything to blog about has not been good. I tried to make a cheesecake, quesadillas and guacamole but they all either failed, burnt or I might have eaten some of them before I took any pictures! So instead, I have rounded up some of my favourite vegan desserts featuring a few Free From Fridays bloggers.

subs

Last week these Chicken parmesan meatball subs from Bluenose Baker had my mouthwatering. They can easily be dairy free or gluten free with substitutions.
snack bar

And these Vegan pizza snack bars from Healthy Helper sound like a great idea for lunchboxes to keep kids going all day.

Gosh, it’s a huge step when you eldest goes to nursery! I still remember the day I left mine at the age of just one to go back to work. She cried and my heart broke. I hope your little boy settles well and enjoys himself!
