This week I’ve been feeling angry after top chefs wrote a letter to The Telegraph complaining about how the new allergen laws are a ‘great burden’ to the catering industry. I wrote a blog post in response to their claims and would love to hear your opinions.
In positive news, I also made meatloaf! This egg free meatloaf is so easy and a great mid-week meal to eat round a farmhouse table.
Free From Fridays is still growing and it was lovely to see some new faces joining us last week. I get so many great ideas from your pages and I know other people do too.
I loved these Apricot and Coconut Energy Bites from Hungry Little Veggie and actually made them last night. They make a great, guilt-free sweet treat on the run but the problem is, I just want to eat the whole lot!
I am also keen to make this ‘Best Darn Pot of Beans Ever’ from Tessa Domestic Diva as they remind me so much of the food I eat when we got back to Texas to visit my husband’s family.
