8 Delicious Dairy Free Breakfast Ideas #freefromfridays

March 9, 2018 by Emma 7 Comments

What have you got planned for Mother’s Day? Spa days are nice. Family meals are lovely. But all I really want for Mother’s Day is a lie in, finished off with a lovely breakfast in bed! So while I’m dreaming of dozing off and snuggling under the duvet, here are some dairy free breakfast ideas for my husband to bebusily making downstairs…

coconut smoothie

I’m a a little late to the smoothie bowl party but now I’m a convert and this coconut smoothie bowl is a such a pretty thing to serve up in the morning.

Pancakes are a classic breakfast in bed dish and these Apple and cinnamon pancakes make you feel all warm and cozy.

I have a bit of a weakness for a breakfast burrito and love this Mexican inspired Scramble tofu rancheros from Facepaint and Flavour.

If you want to get prepared in advance then these Overnight oats from Sneaky Veg will have you organised for the morning.

You could also make this Banana bread from Our Mummy Life, which would make a lovely breakfast treat.

I hadn’t heard of Chachouka until I saw it on Illustrated Tea Cup but it sounds delicious and will add some spice to your day.

Who doesn’t love chocolate?! This Chocolate and almond granola from Mummy Lauretta is bound to be a hit.

And last but not least, these Plum crumble breakfast muffins from Peachicks’ Bakery hit all the right spots.

So which dairy free breakfast will you choose?

Yes, yes, yes!!! Lie in followed by breakfast in bed is EXACTLY what I want on Mother’s Day. Happily I lucked out in the husband department and that is exactly what I am going to get, followed by lunch cooked for me by my hubby and kids. They are so cute – I keep finding them in corners ‘plotting’ what they are going to make me on Sunday and mysterious piles of craft debris 😀 Eb x

Oh Greta selection of breakfasts to try. I think that if I had to try one it would be the plum crumble breakfast muffin #freefromfridays.

Love the fact you’re actually giving your husband a list of potential mummy breakfasts for Sunday morning 🙂 Your smoothie bowl just looks perfect! It’s colourful, looks fresh and full of fruit. Yummy!

I don’t know which to try first: the chocolate granola or the oat-crusted plum muffins! Might need to sneak that spicy egg dish in while the kids are away sometime, too. 😉
