Brrrrr, it’s cold outside!
It’s a beautiful, sunny day but I am happy to appreciate it from my sofa right now as it’s also minus 4 out there.
Days like these call for warming, nourishing and comforting food, preferably slow cooked or something I can sit on the stove top and return to time and time again.
So I have rounded up 4 great winter warmer recipes to keep you cosy.
One pot Welsh Lamb ragu @ Free From Fairy
Slow cooker red lentil curry @Pancake Warriors
Sweet potato and coconut soup @ Free From Farmhouse
Porcupine meatballs @ Raias recipes
What’s your favourite Winter warmer?

Sweet potato and coconut sounds DELICIOUS and note something I would have ever considered putting together!
That lamb ragu looks absolutely fantastic! I’m tempted to make the porcupine meatballs and serve them to the kids just to see if they ask me if they’re made from real porcupines lol
Thank you so much for sharing my meatballs, Emma! 🙂
I love cooking and especially finding some recipes that other blogger shares. That One pot Welsh Lamb ragu yummy looks delicious!
Ok, yes, I thought it – are the made from real porcupines?! You never know these days! I love hearty dishes in the winter – so comforting. Kaz x
Ooh sweet potato curry and lentil soup looks amazing. I am a vegetarian and obsessed with sweet potatoes xx
When the weather is cold I always gravitate towards curry, soup and chilli!! It was -4 this morning when I got in the car, Monkey keeps asking for more snow!! xx
These look delicious, especially whilst we have this bitterly cold weather. A nice warm meal always makes you feel so much better. 🙂 x
These look amazing, I love warm winter food. I am going to have to try a couple of these, they look very yummy!
Love lentils. Slow cooked lentil curry sounds fab – especially as the weather is increasingly hideous out there!
Love lentils and love slow cooking…will definitely give this a go!
