It always fascinates me how other people do stockings as there seems to be so many variations. We have a few big presents from Santa and then a few extra stocking fillers. But we also do something unique where the kids get a small present every day for the 12 days of Christmas. It’s something my Mum used to do for us and I feel it really extends all the excitement, rather than it being over in one day but it also means we need to find a lot of smaller gifts! Here’s a round of some of our free from friendly favourites this year.
Chocolate selection box | Moo Free | £4
It’s not Christmas without a selection box! There is not much choice of free from ones though so it’s great to have this dairy free selection box from Moo Free with festive characters and fun flavours. You can also buy the bars separately. (may contain hazelnuts)
Gruffalo bath range | Good Bubble | £3.99
I used to love having a character bubble bath when I was little but it can be hard to find one that is fun and also safe for the kids’ skin. So I ‘m really excited to see this new Gruffalo bath range from Good Bubble. There is a bubble bath, body wash, moisturiser and detangler spray that are all vegan, suplphite free and allergy friendly.
Honeycomb crunch kit | Bakd Cake |£7.50
The best ideas come from solving a problem – which is why Lisa set up her nut free and gluten free cake company after she couldn’t find great bakes for her son. They also make these lovely cake kits which are a perfect gift and a generous size. You can also order dairy free chocolate chips to use in it as well and use an egg replacer to make it vegan.
Letterbox Lab | From £9.50
I have a confession to make – J was so excited about trying out this Letterbox Lab kit that we forgot to keep the box to photograph! We really loved the fun and educational experiments inside that were all linked by a theme, were easy to set up and had lots of information about the science behind them. You can subscribe to a monthly box and they also have a special scientific Christmas card making kit.
Gingerbread men & Hot chocolate stirrer | Weddell & Turner |£3
We love the gluten free, dairy free and egg free treats from Weddell & Turner and these two make perfect stocking fillers. I *may* have already opened both of them though so there is not much chance they will make it into our stockings this year! Take a look at their luxurious dairy free advent calendar too. (made in a kitchen that handles nuts and egg)
Nature craft box | Mud and Bloom | £9.95
We love getting outside and our collection of sticks and stones grows by the day so I’m a big fan of this nature craft box. I am great at nature but not so great at craft so this gives lots of easy and immersive ideas for the kids to get involved in. You subscribe for monthly boxes and can even purchase a sibling box, which this one is, and it’s great value.
Dairy free Christmas chocolate | Plamil | From £1.10
The So Free range from Plamil is organic, dairy free, nut free and some have no added sugar! But they are also fun, delicious and inexpensive so great stocking fillers all round. The big decision is – are you a santa, snowman or penguin kind of person?! (may contain soya)
Itty Bittys | Hallmark | £6
I gave J and Miss A Itty Bitty superheroes last year and they loved them so I was excited to see the range is now featuring two of their favourite things – Frozen and Star Wars! The characters are small and snuggly but also great for imaginative play and I know they will be making up lots of stories with these.
Vegan chocolate bars | Coco | £4.50
These vegan chocolate bars are so stylish and would be a perfect stocking filler for teens or adults. They have a range of flavours from classic coffee to a grown up gin and tonic and the pretty packaging makes them feel like a special gift. (The full range contains milk and nuts)
Baking mixes | Sweetpea Pantry |£2.75
We love baking from scratch but sometimes you just want a quick and easy activity or something to take away with you that doesn’t require all the measuring and planning. These baking mixes are gluten free, dairy free and easy to make vegan, and there are lots of healthy and fun varieties.
Allergic & Awesome Tshirt | Allergy Mama Store | £18
I’m very excited about this stocking filler as it’s from my new Allergy Mama Store. It’s a great way to help your children own their allergies and approach them with a positive attitude. You can also get something for the grown ups with our Allergy Mama sweatshirts you can see in our Free From Gift Guide
