I love a product that solves a problem for me – and that’s just what the new Neveo app does. It creates a wonderful print newsletter of all your family photos and sends it anywhere in the world.
My in-laws live in America and are in their 80s, so trying to keep them updated on our family life is tricky. We have tried multiple times to get them set up on Facebook and Skype but they always forget their passwords, log themselves out or have some other technical difficulty that means it’s not feasible.
However, I always feel guilty as that means they don’t get as many photos of the kids as I would like them to. I know I could send them regularly but realistically, when life gets in the way, it tends to just be for birthdays and Christmas.
That’s why Neveo is so perfect. It creates a printed newspaper of your family photos, along with captions, and sends it to your chosen recipient every month, wherever they are in the world!
Once you have downloaded the app, you can just add photos throughout the month from your phone or Facebook. There can be multiple contributors too so you could do a whole extended family one if you wanted to. Uploading the photos was really easy and although there were a few glitches adding captions, it is intuitive to use. Now I have seen how it is put together, I will probably add longer or more captions as it looks a little sparse without them.
I’m really impressed with the physical product. It’s glossy and high quality and I can see my mother in law sitting down and proudly flicking through it with her neighbours.
I think Neveo is great value. It costs £9.99 for 50 photos per month but by the time you had paid to print your own photos, buy an envelope, written a card and paid the postage you couldn’t do it much cheaper, especially when you factor in your time. Or you can choose to send 100 photos for £14.99.
I love the fact that my inlaws can look forward to receiving this every month and have physical copies they can store away and look back on. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who has elderly releatives overseas or who they do not get to see regularly. I know it’s lifted a weight off my shoulders and is going to make two people in Texas very happy.
You can try Neveo out now and get your first family photo album for just 99p – you can’t even buy a stamp to America for that!
