Time is flying by and I can’t believe I am halfway there with baby #2!
I recently had our 20 week scan and it was great to see baby again and find out all is well. We almost caved in and found out the gender but stayed strong – I am looking forward to a surprise. Although it makes it doubly difficult with names as we are having a hard time agreeing on anything.
For now we have nicknamed it ‘pudding’ as we told our families we were pregnant on Christmas day and it goes quite well with J’s nickname ‘pumpkin’ as we had his 20 week scan on Halloween.
I am growing quicker than last time but I think that has a lot to do with my lack of stomach muscles this time round! They split last time and have never really recovered so although I started off at a similar weight, there is not much left to keep my baby bump from popping.
Running around after J is definitely keeping fit though and luckily, for now, I am feeling well and (almost) as full of beans as he is.
He has recently been pointing to my tummy and saying ‘baby out’ so I have tried to explain it has a while more to cook! I still can’t quite believe that we are on the downward descent to being parents of two…
