Christmas Gift Guide for foodie families

November 11, 2019 by Emma 1 Comment

AD – Gifted products

I have always enjoyed cooking and spending time creating new recipes. The kids love getting involved too – especially with baking – and I think it’s important to help them see food as fun, instead of just something they need to avoid with their allergies.

This Christmas gift guide has lots of great options for adults and children who enjoy spending time in the kitchen and making home cooked food for the family.

Personalised Mixing Bowl – The Personalised Gift Shop | £24.99

I was probably a little overexcited about this bowl! I really love these classic, tan ceramic mixing bowls but have never bought myself one. So to see this version, that can be personalised with your own name or message was brilliant. It is the perfect size and would be a great gift for any budding bake off stars in the family.

Mediterranean fine foods – Artisan Olive Oil Company

It’s great to find artisan producers and new flavours like this pasta sauce with olives, capers and preserved lemon. The Artisan Olive Oil Company has sauces, spreads, Tunisian flavours and a lovely range of authentic pastas, including many gluten free options. You can create some great hampers that any foodie would love.

Personalised child’s apron – Sparks And Daughters | £18

The kids love putting their aprons on and getting messy in the kitchen. These personalised ones are great and you can choose the wording and colours. They have adjustable neck straps which is really good as I always find generic ones too long. The aprons come in a lovely cotton gift bag and every order includes free shipping!

Bamboo cheese board and knife set – Tru Bamboo | £19.99

This is a lovely, sturdy board with a drawer underneath hiding a set of cheese knives. This would look really stylish in your kitchen for everyday use, or as a cheesboard for special occasions. It is very well made and looks a lot more expensive than it is, so would be an ideal  gift for anyone who likes to cook or host dinner parties.

Cookie stamps – Stamptastic | £7.50

We make a lot of biscuits and cookies in our house and love finding different ways to decorate them. These cookie stamps are really fun and easy to use. They would be great for school bake sales or for baking gifts for family or friends. I think they would be an ideal stocking filler for the children or as a secret santa gift.

Wizards Magic Chocolate | From 99p

The packaging on this chocolate is so pretty, it would brighten up any stocking or Christmas gift! Wizards Magic chocolate comes in three flavours and has a lot of selling points – it’s dairy free, high in fibre, just 1% sugar and has 100% recyclable packaging. Oh, and it tastes really good too!

Nordic Star kids cooking box set – The Gift Experience | £21.99

This kids cooking box set is stylish, practical and really good value. The box contains metal and wooden kitchen items, while the base and back are designed as a toy cooker. It is a great way to inspire imaginative play and perfect for families who can’t accommodate a large toy kitchen. It is compact and easy to transport so would make a lovely toy to take on holiday or to the grandparents’ house too.

Beeswax wraps – Finlay Bee | £15.99

These reuseable beeswax wraps are a great gift for anyone who is trying to be more sustainable and reduce their plastic usage. They have a cute honeycomb design on and come in a packs  of two or three, in different sizes. They are ideal for covering bowls, wrapping sandwiches or keeping food fresh in the fridge.

Pinch pot and salty essentials set – Cornish Sea Salt | £10.70 & £6.50

These little ceramic pinch pots make a stylish addition to the kitchen and are perfect for any foodie. As we have to avoid garlic and chilli due to the children’s allergies, I am always interested in new ways to add flavour. The smoked sea salt is amazing and the salt and pepper mix has just the right balance to quickly season dishes.
