There is a great range of free from advent calendars on the market and everywhere from Holland And Barrett to Aldi is now stocking them. I’m also quite tempted by this Haribo one.
However, I’ve loved seeing the rise in food free advent calendars too. Not only are they great for children with food allergies, but they also offer a healthier, longer lasting experience. I know a little boy who would go crazy for this! J’s Daddy has introduced hin to Star Wars and he is currently saving up his reward stars for a storm trooper outfit so I know this one would go down well.
Play Doh Advent Calendar £21.98
Where does all the Play Doh go?! No matter how much we get we always seem to need more. I love that this comes with little Christmas themed cutters to get into the festve spirit along the way. (*This is not suitable for children with wheat allergies*)
I think this one is a bargain! As well as the characters, you get a whole scene to build and I know my nephew, who is a huge Minions fan would love this.
V-Tech Toot Toot Animals £24.97
This is adorable for younger children and the V-tech toys are lovely and sturdy. Kids would enjoy playing with the characters all year round.
I’ve always been drawn to Melissa & Doug toys and this wooden advent calendar is so bright and fun. It doesn’t give them a reward each day but it would become a family keepsake.
This is a lovely idea for a tween or teen in your family and I think it is really good value. The charms are cute and they will love adding another to the
This might only be for the patient children as I can imagine it could be a bit frustrating waiting to build it! But I think it’s a lovely idea and would be fun to to put together along the way.
